Free Software Updates
Our software products can be updated at no extra charge to newer versions released for a specific major software version.
If you purchased a perpetual license for the Data Digester Enterprise Edition V2 then you can update your software with the future releases of the Data Digester Enterprise Edition 2.17.x series for free (e.g. version 2.17.5, 2.17.6 and so on). New software updates will be available until the software reaches the EOL status (End of Life). Additional licenses are required only when upgrading to future major releases of the Data Digester software like 3.21.x.
The 1 Year Subscriptions grant you updates for a specific major version and its future successor major versions released within a time period of one year. For instance if you purchased a 1 Year Subscription license for the Battery Manager Enterprise Edition V2+ then you can update your software with the future releases of the Battery Manager Enterprise Edition 2.17.x series for free as well as update to any future major version (e.g. version 3.21.x) released within one year.
We think, that our customers should always have full access to the latest software version available. Most software contains bugs and limitations due to operating systems, programming languages, or computer hardware. If newer and better releases become available, Leisenfels customers can update quickly at no extra charge.
